Ramadan, day 7

These are sweet crepes, filled with apricot jam. Low on sugar, high on eggs and milk, it’s a pretty healthy dessert. Mommy’s recipe (on the flip side), so send a du’a her way when you use it :)

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
4 eggs
1 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp cardamom

Method:
Blend together milk and eggs.
Sift together flour, sugar, and cardamom. Whisk into milk mixture.
Fry in very hot frying pans, with ghee. Let frying pan get very hot (to prevent sticking) before pouring in enough to make a thin crepe.

  2. Oh got to try this, they have cardamom! I don’t know what is up with me and spices these days, I’m even drinking tea with spices.

  3. Why are these ‘Indian crepes’? The recipe’s almost the same as teh French ones except the cardamom. :-)

They look awesome, Masha’Allah. Crepes are really hard to get this perfect! Kudos to your mum!
